Ray has been Chairman of the Management Committee since Eddy Buck retired and moved to Dorset in 1999.
Ray chairs the Development Board.   He also sits on the membership working group at Badminton England with representatives from 5 other counties.   This group is under the chairmanship of Adrain Christie, the Chief Executive of Badminton England.
Ray has been chairman of the Birmingham District League for more than 15 years, and been on the committee for over 35 years.
