A fine 13-2 victory against a weakened Northant's 1st Team completed the season for the 2nd Team and left them in fourth position in their league.

     The 4th's achieved a pleasing 10-5 victory over Wiltshire's 2nd team at St. Augustine's Sports Centre last Sunday.   The 3 point victory means that whatever the outcome of their final match against Gloucestershire's 2nd Team in April, their position in division 4 is secure for another season.

     The County's 2nd Team travelled to Rugeley last week-end to play their return match against Staff's 1st Team.   In a match remarkable for the fact that 9 of the 15 rubbers went to 3 games, the County came away with a heavy 11-4 defeat.

     The 3rd Team match against Staffordshire's 2nd Team due to be played on Sunday, 21st February, has been postponed.   The overnight snow has caused problems for the Staffordshire players getting to Coventry and so we have agreed to their request for a postponement.

      The re-arranged date is Sunday. 28th March.

     A pleasing 9-6 victory in Torquay recently kept the 4th Team's hopes of avoiding relegation alive

     A much depleted 5th Team travelled down to Torquay for their return match against Devon's 3rd team recently, and were on the receiving end of a 12-3 beating.

     The County's 2nd Team, - well below full strength, - were well beaten in the return match against Leicestershire's 2nd Team, at the St. Augustine's Sports Centre, Coventry, last Sunday.

     The County's 5th Team came up against a very strong Leicestershire 3rd Team at the St. Augustine's Sports Centre, Coventry, last Sunday, and suffered a 14-1 defeat.
