Cancellation of County Club session.  posted 22 January 2012

     The County Club session scheduled for Tuesday, 24th January has had to be cancelled as the sports hall is not available due to school examinations.

A last gasp victory for the 2nd's against Wiltshire's 1st Team.  posted 22 January 2012

     The 2nd's entertained Wiltshire's 1st Team at the Langley School in Solihull last Sunday, and managed to secure a hard fought 8-7 victory by claiming the last rubber of the match.   The match had been switched from St. Peter's School due to the non availability of their sports hall.

Re-arrangement of the 3rd Team match v Worcestershire's 2nd Team.  posted 22 January 2012

     The 3rd Team match v Worcestershire's 2nd Team, originally scheduled to be played on the 18th December, has had to be further re-arranged.   At first, it was re-arranged for Sunday, 5th February, but it has now been further re-arranged, and will take place on Sunday, 25th March.

The 4th Team lose out to Cambridgeshire's 2nd Team.  posted 22 January 2012

     The 4th 's entertained Cambridgeshire's 2nd Team at the Langley School in Solihull last Sunday, and despite a brave effort came away with an 11-4 defeat.   Despite, gaining an early 3-1 lead in the match, the Team were then overwhelmed in the doubles rubbers.

    The County 1st Team travelled up to York for the second of this season's "Premier A" week-ends, and despite having a  weakened team, came away with 2 victories and a draw from their 3 matches.

     Due to examinations, the St. Peter's School sports hall is not available for the county matches on the 22nd January.   The matches:-  2nd's v Wiltshire, and 4th's v Cambridgeshire 2nd's will now be played at the following venue:-

           Langley Secondary School,
           Kineton Green Road,
           SOLIHULL.
           B92 7ER

        BOTH MATCHES WILL START AT 1-30p.m.

  


 
 


 

   

The 2nd Team secure a maximum 3 point victory against Gloucesterhire's 1st Team.  posted 10 January 2012

The 2nd's travelled the short distance to Gloucester to take on Gloucestershire's 1st Team last Sunday, and came away with a convincing 14-1 victory.

The 4th Team lose out against Northamptonshire's 2nd Team.  posted 09 January 2012

The 4th's travelled to Wellingborough last Sunday to take on Northamptonshire's 2nd Team.  A below strength team, - after a promising start, - were heavily beaten.
